Music Hall – MPT Video-taped Interview

Although our 2007 season has ended, we are keeping the Maryland Public Television (MPT) video interviews on our site for any viewers interested in seeing some examples of our work:

Prior to Music Hall 2007, MPT video-taped an interview by Heather Sanderson with Malcolm Edwards (Co-Director and "Mr. Chairman"), June Anderson ("The Queen of Comedy" and Nicola Hoag (Co-Producer) to talk about Music Hall and share some information about the British Players. The Interview has been aired during the MPT Afternoon Tea Series in between the British Sitcoms usually programmed for every weekday afternoon between 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. and also prior to our Pantomime: Snow White, November 07.

British Heritage article on the British Players

British Heritage included a nice article with photos on our 43rd Annual Old Time Music Hall in their November 2007 issue of the Magazine. A review of our Pantomime – Snow White, is planned for early in 2008.

MPT Afternoon Tea

The British Players and MPT (Maryland Public Television) Afternoon Tea series, which airs weekdays from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m., have many things in common: a love of tea and general silliness as found in the British Sitcoms and our own Old Time Music Hall! And some not so silly but still funny – currently playing during the week in the late afternoon is the James Herriot series, the country vet.

The Afternoon Tea Newsletter contains many interesting articles about tea, local tea rooms, quizzes and information about the characters in the Sitcoms as well as other things British.
